Become Santa Paws for a foster dog this holiday season! Pitmas is Make A Stand Bully Rescue’s annual in-kind supply drive, where each foster dog has their very own, unique wishlist, aimed at meeting their needs (and wants). For rescue agencies, items such as beds, pajamas, new bowls, and fancy toys or treats are often considered “luxury,” and rarely received. Pitmas is an opportunity for the foster dogs in our program to get the things we believe they deserve, while also stocking our program for future rescue dogs! Kona is a 6 month old male pit bull mix looking for his forever family! He has been in our program since the beginning of June – when he was only a *wee* baby! Kona is a perfect little puppy. He is being fostered in the Bryan, Texas area with other dogs and children, and is handling himself beautifully. He is good in his kennel and almost fully potty trained. Renata is a 2.5 year old female/spayed Cane Corso looking for her forever family! She is a sweet and gentle girl and social with other dogs, but does best with slow introductions. Cane Corso is working and protective breed, so someone familiar with the breed or willing to learn is preferred. Renata is an extremely happy dog (she just looks stoic!) – and she is good in her kennel, fully potty trained, and loves BIG once she knows you. Royal (affectionately known as Honey, because of how sweet she is!) is a 4.5 year old female/spayed pit bull looking for her forever family. Royal would prefer to be the only pet in the home, with an unknown history of trauma and abuse, but is fantastic with people – even the littlest of children! Royal is a graduate of a formal board and train program that prioritized her confidence in public settings and reliance on deferring to her handlers in stressful situations. Shadow is a 2 year old male/neutered pit bull mix looking for a loving forever family. Shadow was owner surrendered to our program after his Masticatory Muscle Myositis (MMM) diagnoses, a painful autoimmune disease where his immune system mistakenly attacks his specific chewing muscles (as seen in the atrophy in his face). Shadow is being fosterd in the Houston, Texas area with other dogs and small children, and is doing well! He is happy, friendly, social, and doesn’t let his diagnosis stop him, one bit!
